Deryl Bear, the founder and developer of our delicious Hungry Bear Cookies, spent over 20 years perfecting and baking his concept of the “Perfect Cookie.”

Then, in 1983, Mr. Bear opened the first Hungry Bear Cookies store and in the same year, Hungry Bear was also awarded the title of The Best Cookie in Fresno by the Fresno Bee local newspaper.

Soon after, the flagship Hungry Bear Cookie store opened in the prestigious Fig Garden Village Shopping Plaza and remains there today, happily serving thousands of it’s customers annually.

Currently there is one other Hungry Bear Cookie store to serve you in the neighboring Clovis area.  Please visit us in the Willow Station Shopping Center at Willow and Nees.
